About

Hi! I’m Grace.

Holistic Gal. Mother. Wife. Homemaker. Farm Girl.

My passion for holistic health began in 2019. Similar to how a lot of peoples journeys to natural wellness begin.

Although I seemed like I was functioning just fine in everyday life, I was sensitive to almost all foods, running purely on adrenaline, fighting lethargy, brain fog and lacked the joy of life I craved and knew I had within me.

My career in aesthetics was thriving but my body was fighting back. Finally one day I had just had enough and made an appointment with a holistic clinic that a client of mine (praise the Lord for this interceding!!!) had referred me to. This appt was a catalyst to a new lifestyle for me after going the traditional way of healthcare and told appt after appt that my, “bloodwork was great!” and that I was “so healthy!” Well…those words don’t mean much when you feel like garbage.

In 2019 I devoted myself to learning what it looks like to live a holistic lifestyle. Prior to this, I didn’t even know the difference between sympathetics (fight or flight) and parasympathetics (rest and digest). Funny enough, I used to joke with friends and family that, “I’m not thriving, I’m just surviving”. HELLO. Red Flag! I was in the throws of hustle culture, unable to even hear my body whispering to me all the little signs that I was on a path of health destruction. Poor quality sleep, waking every night at 3AM, acid reflux, brain fog, too many food sensitivities to count, lethargy, easily triggered, shaky hands, cold hands and feet, never waking up hungry, I mean the list literally goes on.

The clinic (a chiro clinic!) I went to in 2019 helped me go through a SIBO protocol and then one series of a parasite cleanse. It wasn’t until one parasite cleanse that I started to feel the fog LIFT. It just so happened that at the same time, my husband was finishing school to join the best profession out there (chiropractic). After my first parasite cleanse, both my husbands eyes and mine were opened. We couldn’t believe what an impact it had on my life. We were just moving back from Minneapolis, MN at that time and I did 4 MORE series of parasite cleanses. I can hardly explain the weight (well…20lbs of parasite sludge) that this lifted off of me. I was a new woman. My husband jokes that there was “pre parasite cleanse Grace” and “post parasite cleanse Grace”.

I took my health into my own hands. I dove in head first with nutrition and figuring out how to get my body into a state of rest and digest (parasympathetics). Before I knew it, I was sleeping soundly, calm, had peace, my acne and melasma went away (!!!) and could actually eat without getting debilitating stomach aches..whaaat! My body is finally happy.

I became so passionate about what an impact nutrition and lifestyle has on our health, I went back to school. I got my Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certificate in 2023, 2 weeks before my second baby was born! Prior to I had gotten my MBA and esthetic license in 2018.

My husband opened his own chiropractic clinic, The Vertebrae Clinic, in 2020 and we have a passion for helping others in the same way. For us, Chiropractic isn’t just for getting your back cracked. For us, it’s a way of life.

Together, my husband and I have two boys Hank and Hal. Motherhood is my absolute greatest joy in the entire world. Nothing has felt more right to me than being Mom.

When my husband and I moved back to ND from MN, not only did we open his practice together but because of my deep rooted passion for really good food, my sisters and I started a pasta company together, 3 Farm Daughters. The three of us make up a perfectly harmonious trio as entrepreneurs together. Growing a business with them has been a dream (although we never saw it coming!)

If we were:

To meet up for coffee: Well, I’d invite you into my home for a cup instead of going out and I’d make you a delish egg yolk latte and make sure you’d eaten a meal before consuming your caffeine for the day ;)

Chit Chatting: Motherhood….gahhh I’m a sucker for talking about all things home birth, homemaking, all the things.

Going out to dinner: I’d want to find the best Mexican restaurant!

Going shopping together: I’d want to go to a new grocery store instead of clothes shopping.

Having happy hour together: I’d be making you a totally fresh squeezed blood orange margarita while snacking on a ridiculously beautiful charcuterie board (I can’t help but love making and eating these).

Giving you advice: I’d be saying to romanticize all the little things in life. I adore making life’s little mundane moments something special.

Sharing a product we loved: I’d give you my tallow moisturizer (it’s unreal..glazed donut status)
